As we near the end of Women’s History Month, we couldn’t find a better way to bring it to a close than to recognize our own JA Board Chair, Dr. Juliet Breeze, for receiving the top volunteer leadership award an individual can receive within our organization.
Dr. Juliet Breeze has been chosen from among more than 100,000 U.S. volunteers as one of eleven recipients of the organization’s most prestigious national award for volunteerism, the Gold Leadership Award.
Junior Achievement’s Gold Leadership Award honors volunteer excellence and is presented in recognition of leadership in supporting and expanding JA’s student impact, resources, operational excellence, and sustainability.
“Our local business community’s support of JA’s vision is critical to our ability to ensure young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities,” said Joe Burke, president of Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. “Juliet Breeze, Chief Executive Officer of Next Level Urgent Care, is a remarkable example of that spirit of dedication and service to others. In a very real way, she helps greater Houston area students develop the foundational skills they need to meet their futures with confidence.”
Dr. Breeze, we are grateful for your continued contributions, passion for young people, and unwavering support of the JA mission; congratulations.
